Save (y)our Savegames
Locate the files on your PC
On your Windows Desktop open your file explorer by getting your Startmenu up, searching for "cmd" and run it by clicking or pressing enter or return...
Now the command promt has opened in a new window, there usually is a cursor blinking, ready for input from Username home directory...
C:\Users\Username
>_
FYI: this is %home%
Now put in EXPLORER %HOME%\AppData\Local\FactoryGame
and send the command by hitting return or enter.
You can also call explorer from Start menu... just put %home%\AppData\Local\FactoryGame
into the address bar and hit return: Now classically we view the files and folders where the saves are stored.
Saved/
GUID.ini
Open the folder. Find and open SaveGames/
In the folders made up of numbers or alphanumeric strings are the savegame files in dependency of the platform you are gaming from...
the folder common may contain savegames shared on all platforms.
Backup the whole thing...
Probably best and easiest way is to go into Saved/
and make a copy of SaveGames as whole thing.
